The low-energy infrared light is used to irradiate the anterior chamber fluid in front of the lens, and the glucose in the anterior chamber fluid is measured to produce changes in the optical absorption and optical rotation of the infrared light. The transparent liquid between the cornea and the crystalline lens can maintain intraocular pressure, the anterior chamber fluid is secreted from the blood, so the glucose concentration has a proportional relationship with the glucose concentration in the blood. <br />It claims to have entered human trials in 2014 and has not yet been launched in 2020.
